The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has unveiled an innovation lab which has been assembled at the ministry’s headquarter in the capital. coinciding with the innovation week, the ministry has set the hashtag #ibtikar_mohre as a social media hub to harness fresh innovative ideas or service resolves from all users.
Mohammed bin Saqer Al Nuaimi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services at the Ministry, said, “Similar to the lab which had been opened the preceding year in the ministry’s main office in Dubai, we urge employees to make use of the state-of-the-art equipment and devices that had been assembled in the corner to assist evolving innovative ideas, the setting, however, has been carefully put together to promote a notion of creativity and help craft an environment that stimulates minds to produce juicy innovations.”
The lab includes a smart robot equipped with a screen that enables ministry employees to reach out, through live chat, to decision makers from managers to undersecretaries, to perform brainstorming sessions. Directors and heads can now remotely communicate with attendees by being displayed on a high-definition display screen equipped on the Robot with live broadcasting tools using clear sound speakers, microphones, and a high-resolution camera.
Users can log into the smart Robot using a smart application to move the machine across the room, also determine the display screen’s height to ease communication process during meetings.
Sensors have been fitted on the Smart Robot to prevent collisions while moving, in addition to a number of sophisticated tools that keeps the robot balanced and move smoothly across the room.
On the sidelines of the opening, attendees discussed issues relating Bogus labour contracts then discussed innovative preventive measures to be implemented by the inspections department to end it.
